Turtle: Bob Dixon: This shot was made at the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga. This turtle was in the Bayou display and he held this pose for several minutes. This was a hand held shot through a glass case. It was shot with a Nikon F4, a Nikon 35-70 Macro zoom on Kodak Gold 100 film.

Red Car: Bob Dixon: This was shot in an Antique and Race Car Museum in Bedford In. The cars were fairly close together so I had to work close and use a wide angle lens. This was made with an F4, a Tamron 28-200 zoom and a Sunpak 4000AF flash on Royal Gold 100.

Faster Than a Speeding Bullet: Bob Dixon: Here I was faced with a photographer's dilemma. Do I get the shot or do I stop this kid from eating the napkin. No problem. I used the F4, 28-200 Tamron zoom lens, a Sunpak 4000AF flash with a vertical bounce reflector. It was shot on Kodak gold 100.

Lynnville Train Museum: Bob Dixon: Our local town built this meseum last year. The original photo was shot with the FE2, a Tamron 28-200 zoom and Ektachrome 100 HC slide film. The slide was scanned and work was done in Photoshop to remove a fence that was in the lower right corner. The sky was very hazy so we replaced it with a sky generated in Bryce 2.

Red Berries: Bob Dixon: This is our first fully digital photo. Shot with an Olympus D600L digital camera at the highest quality setting. Only minor density correction was need.

Take My Picture: Bob Dixon: That's what she said so that's what I did. I got this at a wedding I was shooting. She was with her mother working in the kitchen, came to the serving window and gave me this pose.

BBQ Grill: Bob Dixon: Another digital image shot with the D600L on the highest quality settiing. The only photoshop processing was a gamma adjust to bring out the details. This was a hand held, available light image.

Catfish Bob: Bob Dixon: D600L image of this 5 inch fish in one of our fish tanks. This was a tripod shot done with available light.

Sycamore Leaf: Bob Dixon: Early morning light, D600L on highest resolution and hand held. This image had no post camera processing except I removed an aircraft vapor trail in the shy. This is a good example of the vivid colors that this camera produces.
